One current community rules table lists the exact text-field limits; a separate community Guild guide reports Owner-only edits and a 7-day rename cooldown. Neither is an official confirmation or an in-game test. The current game form and role screen remain final.

Guild Name Rules route
Create safely → check Owner and cooldown before editing
Guild creation can fail on any one of three text fields, while editing a name may be restricted to the Owner and trigger a reported cooldown.
Follow the route
Name: count spaces and punctuation toward 3–24 characters, then check the listed letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, dashes, and apostrophes.
Tag: keep it between 2 and 5 characters and use letters or numbers only; do not copy the name's punctuation allowance to the tag.
Description: the community creation guide includes this field; keep its text within 1–200 characters. The checked rules table gives no separate allowed-character list.
Before editing an existing Guild, check that you are its Owner and read the current name cooldown. A community guide reports a 7-day wait after a name change; confirm in-game before saving.
Submit once in the live Guild form. If it rejects a field, edit only that field and use the current error as the final authority.
All three fields pass their recorded checks, Owner access is confirmed for edits, and the current game form—not this local preflight—is used for submission.

Check the name, tag, and description together
Enter the text exactly as you plan to submit it. This checks the listed limits locally; the live Guild form is still the final check.
Name / tag / description board
Guild Name Rules three-field preflight
Check each setup field against its own listed constraint. A name's punctuation rule is not the tag rule, and the description has a length check only.
Current character rule
The recorded tag rule is letters and numbers only.
Only the recorded length is checked here; the live form decides whether the text is accepted.
Do not submit while an entered name, tag, or description visibly exceeds its listed limit or uses a character outside its own listed set.
Use the current form error to identify the field, edit only that field, then check it once more before retrying.
Worked decision
Three fields—and one costly name edit
A candidate name is 25 characters and includes an emoji; the tag is six characters with a dash; the description is 205 characters. An existing Guild also needs a name correction.
For creation, shorten the name to at most 24 and remove unlisted symbols, shorten the tag to 2–5 letters or numbers only, and trim the description to 200 or fewer. For an existing Guild, check Owner access and the live cooldown before changing its name.
The name allows a broader listed character set than the tag, while the description rule supplies a length range only. Treating all fields alike risks fixing the wrong constraint.
If the live form or role screen reports a different rule or cooldown, follow it; this checker is a preflight aid, not the game's validator.

What are you trying to do with Guild Name Rules?
Choose one decision and follow the three checks in order.
- 1 · Check nameCount 3–24 characters and scan the name-specific set.
- 2 · Check tagUse 2–5 letters or numbers only; punctuation is not listed for tags.
- 3 · Check descriptionKeep the description between 1 and 200 characters before the live form.
If the Guild Name Rules check does not match
Enter the proposed name, tag, and description in the checker; change only a field that misses its listed rule, then confirm the current in-game form accepts it.
If the item, offer, or result differs, stop before another purchase or sale. Repeat the relevant check above with the current details, then use the linked route that still fits your budget and task.
Page-specific questions
Before you commit
What characters are allowed in a guild name?
The recorded rules allow letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, dashes, and apostrophes. Check the current form in-game before submitting.
Can I use punctuation in the guild tag?
One current community rules table lists letters and numbers only with a 2–5 character range. Keep punctuation out unless the live form explicitly accepts it.
Does the description have a character rule?
The checked table lists a 1–200 character range but no separate allowed-character set. The local checker only counts length; the current form decides whether the text is accepted.
Who can edit the Guild name, and is there a cooldown?
A separate community Guild guide reports that only the Owner can edit guild details and that a name change starts a 7-day cooldown. Confirm your role and the cooldown shown by the current game before saving; we did not test this in-game.
What should I do after one field is rejected?
Read the live error, edit only the name, tag, or description it identifies, then use the current form again. Do not assume this helper can override a changed server rule.
